Troubleshooting Guide #2

Welcome back to session #2.
My web browser can't display the web page.
I've been down this avenue myself. The funny thing is that I didn't think about it until I googled this subject and saw their solution.
Ask the following questions:
Check the cables - ensure you are connected by either modem, router or WIFI
I had one computer that didn't have enough RAM (Random Access memory) to work with the data
Did it ever work? Where you ever able to connect to the web? When?
Are there any other computers in the area that are doing the same thing?
Is the enhanced protected mode enabled, how about the firewall settings?
After these avenues have been traveled there is one other that a dear sweet lady from the VA (Veteran's Administation) filled me in on; if the user has been doing a lot of web searching, the history may be full and needs to be emptied.
Erase or empty Browse history by clicking CTRL, Shift, Delete.
This can also be done through Control Panel > Network and Internet > Delete browsing history and cookies.
Well, that's about it for this topic.
Since my last two blogs have had a few references to days of old, I'll give ya this one:
"Tune in next week when you'll hear Anne say... "I'll never do that again!"
Catch ya on the flip-flop.
