Went shopping for a good Help Desk Software "helper" the other day. Visited a site called Capterra .com and found all kinds of suggestions. The address is www.capterra.com/help-desk-software.
I checked out two sites as requested: Salesforce and Samanage. Here is my opinion, please feel free to make your own.
Salesforce was first on the list, so of course it was my first choice.
They have five star ratings in overall performance, ease of use, and customer service.
Charge (as a starting price) $135./month/user.
Your company will be billed annually.
Deployment both mobile and web based
Documentation, Webinars, and Live Online Training
Samanage was second, so obviously I checked them out. Their features seemed most comparable.
Five of five stars as the Salesforce site.
Mobile access
Incident management
I don't like the fact that you have to contact them for the fees they charge.
Now for the big event story of this blog...
Capterra also has a tab for most popular packages, the two I checked out weren't even on the list of the top five.
This is good though, because it should make you want to check out the site for yourself instead of folowing my example.
Once again I hope I am leaving you all with a big smile on your face.
Remember, no one is perfect.
