Welcome to another "Backyard Blog". Today we are investigating the different Mobile Device Management Applications which are available for your network engineers pleasure - or just for the company's security.

I've been researching; trying to find three different applications which support at least two different operating systems. I found a website which did comparisons on many of them, however, they failed to say which O/S was supported. So I did my own research. I found the following:

With AirWatch, you can manage a diverse fleet of Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry, Chromebook, Mac OS, Windows, and peripheral devices from a single management console.

I am supposed to determine which app I feel is best, and of the three, I found that Hexnode

had the most information and the most options to use for security purposes. The only downfall was the fact that I couldn't say for sure what O/Ss were covered.

"Mobile Device Management Simplified!" Mobile Device Management. Web. 06 Mar. 2016. https://www.hexnode.com/mobile-device-management/?capterra=01

So for this reason, I am not really including them. They were the best though.

The website I used for the initial search was:

"Best Mobile Device Management Software | 2016 Reviews of the Most Popular Systems." Best Mobile Device Management Software | 2016 Reviews of the Most Popular Systems. Web. 06 Mar. 2016. <http://www.capterra.com/mobile-device-management-software/>.

Thanks for stopping by again, chat at you next time.
